The College of Nursing on TWU was established in 1954, and is the 5th oldest Doctoral program in Nursing in the United States. Working with TWU College of Nursing, DIHCS helps to facilitate Chinese nurses and nurse leaders to visit US and have comprehensive training from 2-4 weeks to 1-6 months. Visitors will have opportunities to hear TWU-CON professors give face to face lectures in the field of Pharmacology, Cardiovascular/Pulmonary/Emergency Medicine, etc. Also, nurses will have defined clinical observation opportunity at TWU associated / teaching hospitals.
DIHCS is also working with the leadership in Methodist Health Systemn(MHS), a prestigious DFW medical health system which focus on patients experience, safety and quality of care.
